Oxford World Theatre TEACHERS
Teaching has many things in common with performing and there are numerous ways in which a teacher can benefit from theatrical experiences. Communicating engagingly for example is a vital characteristic for both actor and teacher, and theatre can really teach you how to do this: how to keep your audience engaged and interested. You will also have the chance to improve your pronunciation, as well as learn alternative English-language teaching skills by experiencing them first-hand as a student! Together with other English language teachers you will learn to be on stage preparing an exciting piece of theatre to perform in front of friends, family, colleagues, and why not… even your own students!

Testimonials
“It was a really amazing project! An important experience which I'll keep in my heart forever. Truth be told I had been afraid of the stage all my life, and it was difficult for me to play my part, to go on the stage and do it. But at the same time as a child I dreamt to be an actress. So, the theatre project helped me to overcome my fears and fulfil my dream. I surely can say that it changed my life by showing me the absolutely new world of acting. Moreover, it was a great opportunity to improve my English and to meet loads of good people. So, thanks to Oxford World Theatre and to everyone I shared that experience with!”
